Dennis Clair Rice

Dennis Clair Rice, 69, Punxysutawney, Pa, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones and beloved dog Jupitor.

The son of William B. and Pearl (Gardner) Rice, he was born April 4, 1955 in Indiana, Pa.

Dennis had retired from IUP paint shop. His interests included traveling, camping, and boating.

Surviving is his wife of 49 ½ years, Jaunita Ann (Lynch) Rice; his son, Dennis C. Rice Jr.; grandson, Devin T. Rice; great granddaughter, Evangeline (Evie) Monet Neal-Rice; siblings, Ellen Kay Leary, Darlene (Dennis) Bence, Jack (Carol) Lee and Debbie (Mark) Coughanour.

Proceeding Dennis in death were his parents; grandparents, Kate Archkavage and Silvia (Beer) Rice; infant twin son, Troy D. Rice; brothers, Ronald Lee, William B. Jr. and Richard Lee Rice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
