Debbra J. (Elder) Ryan

Debbra J. Ryan, 52 of Commodore, passed away at her home after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side on Saturday September 13, 2025.

She was born July 27, 1973 to George and Janet Elder in Virginia Beach Virginia.

Debbra was a graduate of Purchase Line High School. She worked for various nursing homes throughout the area as a Certified Nursing Assistant and met all residents with care and compassion She enjoyed crocheting, camping, the outdoors and horses. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and granddaughters Maggie and Madison.

She is survived by her husband Charles M. “Chip” Ryan, Commodore, a daughter, Megan Labutka (Michael), Indiana, a son Brandon Lydic (Kate), Marion Center, a sister Amanda Farabaugh (Justin), Gypsy, three brothers, Bud Elder, Homer City, Jack Goodman (Geralyn), Butler, George Elder, MI, step-mother Joanne Patterson, Starford, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Theresa Elder.

Friends will be received on Friday from 3-7 PM, at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119 N., Indiana, PA.
