David E. Wells

David E Wells, 78, of Chambersville, passed away on Tuesday August 12, 2025 at his home.

He was born February 20, 1947 to Howard and Elizabeth (Domiano) Wells in Indiana.

Dave was a coal miner for various companies in the area for many years. He retired as a Well Tender from Victory Energy. Dave enjoyed dirt track racing, working on vehicles, hunting, camping and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Catherine J. Wells, Chambersville, five children Melissa Wells, Home, David Jr., Chambersville, Thomas Wells, Ernest, Jessica Jackson and husband Brett, Landisville, Donald Barry, Creekside, 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, three brothers James Wells and wife Peggy, WV, Donald Wells, and wife Loretta, Home, Ronald Wells and wife Barbie, Creekside, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
