David William Gray

David William Gray, 88, Creekside, died Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at his residence with his daughter and grandson by his side.
The son of William Pearl and Helen Mae (Price) Gray, he was born May 6, 1931 in Cowanshannock Township.
David was a hard worker who was also an outdoors man who enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially coon hunting. He also was skillful at making furniture.
Surviving is his daughter, Connie Huller, Creekside; siblings, Jessie Mae Petrosky, Cleveland, OH, Jacqueline Darlene (James) McConnel, Ashville, Carrie Gladys Gray, Creekside, Cindy Lou (Dennis) Bernard, Creekside, Calvin Charles Gray, Brookville, Thomas Clark (Linda) Gray, Plumville, Kenneth Mack (Linda) Gray, Spring Church and Gary Lynn (Karen) Gray, Clymer; grandson, Richard A. Huller, Jr., Chambersville; brother-in-law, Ronald Taddy, Ashville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sarah Mildred Hart and her husband, William, Barbara Jean Taddy; brother, Ronald Richard Gray and his wife, Joyce; and sons, David William and Roger Lee Gray.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  A Memorial Service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Jerry Hoch, officiating.  Military Rites will be provided by VFW Post 1989. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119 N, Indiana, PA 15701 to assist with funeral costs. 
The family would like to express their thanks to the following Indiana VNA/Hospice, Jennifer Weaver, RN, Deb Schurr, Mallory Fabri and Carol Pasquerell, Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute of Kittanning, Dr. Heather Benjamin, Ann, Kelly, Dawn, Tyler, and all other staff members, Dr. Klayton and his radiology staff.  You were truly family to David and the support and love he received was amazing.
