Daniel George Renwick

Daniel George Renwick, 84, Clarksburg, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, while at Beacon Ridge Skilled Nursing Facility.

The son of James and Violet (Swartz) Renwick, he was born January 9, 1939, in Nowrytown, PA.

Dan had been employed 13 years by Jiffy Steak and afterward retired from Halliburton Industries after 25 years of service.

Dan liked to hunt, play Bingo, go to the casino, and play poker and pinochle. He also enjoyed telling stories, especially about work. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Surviving is his wife, Mary (McDowell) Renwick; children, Daniel Jr., MN, and Cathy (Ian) Donaldson, Elizabeth Township, PA; grandchildren, Danielle Kelley, Christopher, Kali, Scott and Skyler Renwick; six great grandchildren; sisters, Edna Rikard, AL, Ann Minek, OH, Ethel (Richard) Komlosky, Creekside, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Dan in death were his parents; a son, Jeffrey; sister, Janet; and brothers, James, Charles, and Richard.

Funeral arrangements will be private and entrusted to the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home.
