Daniel L. Hancock, 71, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday January 19, 2026 at Allegheny General Hospital.
He was born March 17, 1954 to Lester and Lena (Sarp) Hancock in Latrobe.
Dan was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School. He worked from 1974 until 1989 with the Laborers International Union, Local 145, Latrobe. In 1973 he started working the old family farm, and along with his two brothers and his wife they established a dairy operation in 1992 and is still in operation today. Dan loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Maureen (Immel) Hancock, Clarksburg, four children, Danny J. Hancock (Wendy), Amanda L. Liotta (Christopher), Doug L. Hancock (Kristin), Lisa R. Syster (Joshua), six grandchildren, Cassidy, Aspen, Giovanni, Hunter, Jason, Maxton, a brother Dave Hancock, father-in-law Ed Immel, sisters-in-law Annette Hancock, Chris Harrold (Adam), a brother-in-law Eddie Immel (Kim) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Raymond W. Hancock, and his mother-in-law Shirley Immel.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 12:00-2:00 pm and 4:00-6:00 pm
Burial will be private on the family cemetery.
