Cynthia L. Sipos, 74, of Indiana, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 at the Gardens at Indiana.
She was born June 14, 1951 to Richard and Betty (Kirkland) Kinter in Indiana as the eldest of six siblings.
Cindy was a graduate of Marion Center High School. She then went on to gattend IUP where she received her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education. At IUP she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. Cindy was an elementary school teacher for over thirty-five years at Canoe-Grant and Rayne Township Elementary Schools before retiring in 2010. Cindy was a member Graystone Presbyterian Church, Indiana. She enjoyed traveling the world after her retirement, but always appreciated returning home. Cindy loved spending time with her family, planning and hosting family events.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gregory J. Sipos, Indiana, a son Brian J. Sipos, his wife Judith Klang, Rockville, granddaughter Dalia, and three siblings, Rick Kinter and Scott Kinter and Tammy Willover, all of Indiana, and also numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Glenn Kinter and a sister Deborah Johnston.
Friends will be received on Monday April 13, 2026 from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119 North, Indiana, PA 15701.
