Connie Lee Johnston

Connie Lee Johnston, 81, passed away Monday September 25, 2023, while at Beacon Ridge Nursing Center.

The daughter of Alvin and Florence (Parks) Rearick, she was born July 28, 1942, in Indiana PA.

Connie was employed as a secretary for Washington Township. She was a member of the Plumcreek Presbyterian Church. In Connie’s free time she assisted with the Creekside food pantry and enjoyed doing puzzles. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her children; Eric Johnston, Daren (Melinda) Johnston, and Tracy Johnston; 4 grandchildren, William (Tana) Gunnett, Amy (Dan) Shultz, and twins Zachary and Kaitlyn Johnston; one sister Donna McIntire.

Preceding Connie in death were her parents and husband, Homer “Blair” Johnston; and daughter-in-law Melissa.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11 am in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Matt Lantz, officiating. Interment will be in the Atwood Cemetery.
