Connie Mae Boyer

Connie Mae Boyer, 83, of Indiana, loving mother, and grandmother, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, with her family by her side. 

A daughter of the late Gordon M. Helman and Ethel M. (Hinton) Helman Condor, she was born on August 3, 1941. Connie’s happiest days were spent playing bingo, scratching off lottery tickets with Junior, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Carol (Dave) Hancock, Bernard Stiles Jr., and Connie Miller; her grandchildren, William (Mary) Palmer, Matthew Palmer, April Chakot (Fiancé Brandon Walker), Randal (Sarah) Simms, Vanessa Simms (Joshua Tassos), Ashley (Steven) Fulton, Kayla (Matthew) Marshall, Austin (Amanda) Hancock, and Trevor Detweiller; her great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Aleah, Alaina, Alexander, Amelia, Aidan, Kaleb, Kody, Dustin, Mariah, Paisley, Dawsyn, Kinlee, Dawn, Karson, and Matthew Jr; her great-great-granddaughter Iris; her sisters, Donna (Glenn) Kunkle, and Anna (Jeff) Mencer; her life-long friend, Beth Beskid; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her daughter, Charolet Boyer; her son, Milo Stiles; her brothers, LeRoy Helman, Arthur Helman, Wayne Helman, Albert Helman, and Ellsworth Helman; her sisters, Edna Sipos, Linda McCurdy, Cheryl Helman, Diana Smith, and Sandra Haggerty; and her great-granddaughter Ava. 

Friends and loved ones will be received at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119 Hwy N, Indiana, on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 4-6 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the funeral home on behalf of Connie to help cover funeral expenses.
