Byron McGara "Gary" Frick, 89, of Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026 at St. Andrew's Village.
He was born October 19, 1936, to Byron C. and Mary E. (Shields) Frick in Indiana. After graduating from Indiana High Scholl Gary joined the United States Airforce. He worked several years at McGill Motors selling vehicles and made many friends. Gary was also self-employed for many years in which he farmed and sold Christmas trees always using his trusty John Deere tractor. One of his last business Gary established and operated was the Frick's Pleasant Hills Carwash.He loved his Lord Jesus Christ, learning about God's word and his salvation by grace through many years of bible study; Gary loved Psalm 23. Gary attended Ernest Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joyce A. (Peterson) Frick, Indiana, a daughter Nancy A. Lukehart and husband Thomas D., Kittanning, a brother Thomas Frick and wife Theresa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Leanne J. Frick, a brother David Frick, a sister-in-law Marty Frick, and a nephew Nick Peterson.
Friends will be received on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119
North, Indiana, PA 15701
Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
