Brian A. Walker, May 12, 1971 – May 24, 2025

 Brian A. Walker, 54 of Mayport, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS.

Born in Howell, Michigan, Brian later made his home in Marion Center Pennsylvania, where he graduated from Marion Center High School, proudly lettering in every sport he played. A hardworking man who never backed down from a challenge, Brian spent many years with Avalotis, sandblasting and painting bridges high above the highways and rivers of Pittsburgh. His strength, fearlessness, and work ethic were unmatched.

Brian was an architect of his own life – genuine, artistic, a problem solver, and someone who would do anything for anyone. He didn’t let others’ opinions shape his view of people; he believed in forming his own judgments and standing by them. You always knew where you stood with Brian. He was a man of honesty, conviction, and respect. A devoted husband and proud father, Brian loved his girls deeply. Brian took immense pride in his home, transforming it into a paradise for his family. He was truly a jack of all trades – and mastered them all. Brian never slowed down. He enjoyed the thrill of paintball, the calm of a golf course and the quiet of the woods, where he loved to hunt. He would send pictures of his trail cameras to friends and family. The beach was one of Brian’s favorite escapes. He looked forward to yearly vacations to the Outer Banks with his family and friends where he enjoyed gathering seashells and creating epic sand sculptures, with a new theme for each year. He was always up for a good time, known for throwing legendary Halloween and Fourth of July parties. Whether around a bonfire with a drink in hand or sharing stories with friends and family, Brian knew how to make every moment count. Brian is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Vicki (Hamil) Walker; mother, Karen (Hayes) Petit; son, Guy Moslak; daughter, Jordan Walker; brother Steven (and Heather) Walker; niece, Ariana Walker; nephew, Braeden Walker; grandchildren, Makaylen Schrack; Blayke Moslak; Brody Moslak; and Mila Pandullo, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Walker; grandparents, Merle and Martha Ruffner; uncle, Kenny Ruffner; and his mother-in-law, Shirley Hamil.

 A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at his home on Saturday, May 31, 2025 (172 Snyder Road, Mayport PA 16240) from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. A service will be held at 5:00pm and directly after there will be an opportunity for anyone to tell a story or say something about Brian. Please bring a chair and your favorite drink to celebrate. The evening will close with fireworks in his honor – a fitting tribute to a man who brought light and energy wherever he went.

 Brian was the nicest “A$$HOLE” you’ll ever meet!
