Beverly Ann Smith

Beverly Ann Smith, 86, Indiana (formerly Ernest), passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023, while a patient in Indiana Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Thomas and Gertrude (Neale) Smith, she was born August 20, 1937 in Ernest.

Beverly was a graduate of Indiana High School and a member of the Ernest Bible Church. She was a long time employee of Frick Insurance Agency. Her interests included reading and spending time with her family. She loved the holidays and was a huge sports fan.

Surviving are her nephews, Sam (Connie) Bowman, Tim (Marcy) Smith, Tom Bowman, Gregg Garonzi, John (Sophia) Garzoni, and Tom (Marcie) Smith; nieces, Lori Smith, Lisa Shepard, and Vonna Jo (Steve) Fisher; special cousin, Linda Howells; numerous great nieces and nephews; and special friend, Toca; sisters-in-law, Eileen and Jane Smith.

Preceding Beverly in death were her parents; sisters, June Garonzi, Alice Bowman and Peg Czora; brothers, Bill and Robert Smith; nephews, Bob Garonzi, Bill Bowman, and Gordon Smith; niece, Annie Smith.

Friends will be received on Friday from noon until 1 p.m. at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. John Sykes, officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
