Bernice Greene

Bernice Ellen Greene, 71, Dixonville, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 while at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Charles R. and Frances (Miller) Barnett, she was born April 25, 1948 in Indiana, PA.

Bernice liked flowers and making crafts.  She enjoyed collecting cardinal figurines.  Bernice will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Surviving is her husband, Peter Greene; sons, Pete D. Greene, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly and Todd D. Greene and his wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Ashley Greene, Megan Rusko and her husband, James, Todd Greene, Jr., Kirstin Greene, and Azura Greene; great-grandchildren, MacKenzie, Gatlin, Kamdon, and Harper; and a sister, Anna Katherine Krouse.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clare Russell Barnett.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  A funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Doug Greene, officiating.
