Barbara Ann Boyer

Barbara Ann Boyer, 79, Indiana, passed away Friday November 17, 2023 at UPMC East Hospital.

The daughter of Todd and Blanche (McKee) Getty, she was born December 8, 1943 in Aultman PA.

Barbara was a graduate of Laura Lamar High School and a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Florida, Ocean City Maryland, and out west. Her interests included growing flowers, baking, taking walks, having lunch with her son, and having fun with her grandchildren playing board games and throwing paper airplanes from her porch. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Barbara was widely admired for her selfless and kind nature, and she will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Surviving is her husband Robert E Boyer, Indiana; a son, Greg (Melissa) Boyer, Indiana; grandchildren, Brandon Boyer, Pittsburgh and Brooke Boyer, Indiana.

Preceding Barbara in death were her parents; an infant daughter, Beverly; a brother Richard Getty; sisters, Patricia Ball and Arlene Siverd.

Funeral arrangements will be private, along with interment in the Oakland Cemetery.
