Aretas M. "Reittie" Reed

Aretas M. “Reittie” Reed, 56 of Armagh, formerly of Homer City, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at her home.

She was born June 23, 1968, to Dora J. Reed in Elmhurst, NY.

Aretas was a graduate of Homer Center High School. She formerly worked at Homer City United Presbyterian Church, where she was the administrative assistant, and most recently she worked at St. Andrews’s Village and H&R Block.

She is survived by a brother, David A. Reed (Patsy), Armagh, a niece Cassandra Wegener (Brady), Ford City, a nephew, William Reed, Seward, a great niece, Emma Wegener and two great nephews, Caleb and Owen Reed, and her two dogs and two cats, Adele, Princess, Mickey, Lucky.

She was preceded in death by her mother.  

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Rte. 119, N., Indiana, PA 15701.
