Anna LaRome Wertheimer, 80, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
The daughter of James and Hattie (Martin) Taylor, she was born August 29, 1943, in Aultman, PA.
Anna was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who loved kittens. She enjoyed frequenting casinos, collecting windchimes, and playing crazy eight with her kids.
Surviving are her children; Carol (Stephen) Kester, Homer City, Becky Kester, Indiana, Sandy (Bryan) Shotts, Northern Cambria, Charles (Anita) Wertheimer III, Johnstown, and Harold (Tabitha) Wertheimer, Hopwood; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Gamble, Jimi Havry, Gaynell (Vernon) Labret; brothers, John Milford Taylor, James (Sandy) Taylor, Stanley Taylor; many nieces and nephews; and her pet cat Kittipuss.
Preceding Anna in death were her parents; husband, Charles “Lefty” Wertheimer; granddaughter, Kayla; brothers, Richard and Thomas; a sister, Margaret.
Friends will be received on Monday from 11 to 1 p.m. at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel.
Internment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
