Alex Eugene Lowman

Alex Eugene Lowman, 79, Indiana, passed away Thursday, November 30. 2023 at his residence.

The son of Horace and Estelle (Simpson) Lowman Sr., he was born November 25, 1944 in Dixonville PA.

Alex was a Vietnam veteran who had enjoyed his retirement from Penelec spending many years with his wife and grandchildren. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. In his free time he enjoyed drinking Sheetz coffee and buying scratch tickets. Alex had 2 dogs that he loved, Julio and Patches. He was the last of his siblings to survive.

Surviving are his children, Lisa Krouse-Gayarski, Clymer, Peter Weiss Jr., Indiana, Krisha (Joseph) Michele, Indiana; grandchildren, Bryan (Ashley) Krouse, Indiana, Cristiana (Greg) Olechovski, Bethel Park PA, Michael Krouse, Shelocta, Savanna (Mason) Frumkin, Shelocta, Alexandra Michele, Indiana, Cassandra Michele, Indiana; great-grandchildren; Richard, Alexander, Karter, Kyiri; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to care givers Faith, Amanda, and Lori as well as all those who assisted in caring for Dad.

Preceding Alex in death were his parents; wife Christina; grandchildren, Kimberly and Alex; brothers, Horace Jr., twins, Denny and Dwight; sisters, Sis, Charlotte, Edna.

A graveside service at St. Patrick’s Cemetery will be conducted in the future. The John A Lefdahl Funeral home have been entrusted with the arrangements.
