William Clifford Pentz, 85, Indiana, died Monday, January 14, 2019 while at the Communities at Indian Haven.
Born April 10, 1933 in Indiana, PA, he was the son of Selena Grace Bashline Pentz Huey.
Mr. Pentz was a 1951 graduate of Indiana High School. He served as a Corporal in the Army during the Korean War, followed by 43 years with Bell Telephone as a switchman.
Mr. Pentz was a past member of the Shelocta Sportsmen’s Club. In his free time enjoyed being outdoors, doing projects and helping his friends and neighbors with their projects. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his wife, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife Doris (Orr) Pentz; children, Sheldon (Ann) Pentz, Shelocta, and Sheryl “Sheri” (William) Mulokey, Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, William A. (Rachel) Pentz, Downington, PA, Jessica (Eric) Graf, Venango, PA, Michaela Mulokey stationed with the Air Force in Montana, and Katherine “Kate” Mulokey, Alexandria, VA; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Elena and Matthew Pentz, all of Downington, PA; Henry and twins Ella and Emma Graf, all of Venango, PA; and a sister, Betty Jane Kerr, Indiana, PA.
Preceding William in death was his mother.
A memorial service with military honors will be conducted at a later date. The John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home have been entrusted with the arrangements.
