Vincent Benjamin Yeckley, 80, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 while at Allegheny General Hospital.
The son of Alvin and Ola (Dunlap) Yeckley, he was born November 22, 1938 in Carrolltown, PA.
Vincent was a proud Veteran of the United States Army 3rd Infantry Division. He was a member of the Lion’s Club and he volunteered for Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and most importantly spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Cecilia (Psioda) Yeckley; children, Michael Yeckley, Indiana, Pam (Andy) Bishop, Indiana, Everett (Gilda) Yeckley, Atlanta, and Alan Yeckley, Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Lisa and Randall, Michael, Christy and Brock, Gretchen, Heidi, Emily, and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Randall, Makenzie, Carina, James, Grace, and Kayley; 4 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vincent was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
