Richard Joseph Skoff

Richard Joseph Skoff, 70, Ernest, died Saturday, March 10, 2018, at his residence.

The son of Gilbert Peter and Helen (Kowchuck) Skoff, he was born May 27, 1947 in Ernest.

Mr. Skoff was a 1965 graduate of Marion Center High School.

 Richard was employed his entire life as an engineer except for the ten years he served in the Navy.

Richard was a life time member of VFW Post 1989, and also was a member of the Ernest Church of the Resurrection and the American Rifleman Association.

His interests included hunting and fishing.

Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Bonnie (Harvey) Skoff; sisters, Carol Ann (James) Wheeler and Andrea (Stanley) Mocek, both of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Richard in death were his parents and a sister, Barbara Ann Popson.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  A funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Indiana County Humane Society.
