Michael Oros

Michael Andrew Oros, Sr., 68, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 after a four year battle with cancer. 

The son of Mike and Helen (Hill) Oros, he was born December 22, 1949 in Indiana, PA.

Michael was employed as a coal miner for numerous years.  He loved metal detecting, going to casinos and spending time with his family.  Michael will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. 

Surviving are his children, Tina Misko, Clymer, Melissa Minzer, Penn Run, Mike (Rose) Oros, Jr., Carolltown, and Stephen Oros, Vintondale; grandchildren, Joshua and Abigail Misko, Derek and Christine Quick, Jarod Minzer, Devon Donovan Laney, Jenna Oros, Jake and Jordan Klawinski; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tony (Darlene) Oros, Mark (Rebecca) Oros, and Tom (Sue) Oros; sisters, Rhonda (Wayne) Mattis and Bonnie (Rick) Kromer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents. 

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
