Margaret Rosina Evanick, 78, Indiana, died Friday, October 13, 2017 at St. Andrew’s Village.

The daughter of George Daniel and Ethel Louise (Wisilosky) Blatt, she was born January 29, 1939 in Indiana, PA.

Margaret was a member of the Ernest Church of the Resurrection and also a member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites.  Margaret lived a holy life and was ready to go home.

Surviving are her children, Daniel (Lora), Kenneth (Yvonne), Sharon (Joseph Marko), Antoinette (Paul) Greenawalt, Jennifer (Terry) Reed; eleven grandchildren, Derek, Cody, Robert, Fawndessa, Alexandria, Elizabeth, Paul (PJ), Cassandra, Dariann, Keyona, Trinity; seven great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; brothers, Edward (Bonnie), John (Barbara), Michael (Sandy), and Stephen (Kim).

Preceding Margaret in death were her parents; former husband, Edward; and a sister, Mary.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana.  Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Monday morning at the Ernest Church of the Resurrection.

Interment in the St. Bernard Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Ernest Church of Resurrection or Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites.
