Kathleen B. Castro, 66, Torrance, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 while at Hillsdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
The daughter of the late Manuel Castro and Eleanor (Gonzales) Coughanour, she was born December 28, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Kathleen was a graduate of Derry High School. She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church of Dixonville.
Surviving is her mother, Eleanor Coughanour; siblings, David Castro, Gabrielle (Randy) Cooper, Martina Coughanour, and Mark (Debra) Coughanour; nieces, Heather (Michael) Snyder, Katie (Amanda) Coughanour, and Christina Castro; and nephews, David (Brenda) Castro, Justin (Kelly) Cooper, Nathan Coughanour and his companion, Brenda, and Christopher (Trisha) Coughanour.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Castro; step-father, Alfred Coughanour; grandparents, Lena and Edward Gonzales; aunt, Lisa Moore; uncle, Edward Gonzales; and companion, Geno Butchkowski.
Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
