Katherine Duralia Headley

Katherine Duralia Headley, 91, Ernest, died peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2019, with her loving family by her side.
The daughter of Aloysius and Kata ( Zamaria) Duralia, she was born May 1, 1927 in Trafford, PA.
Katherine attended church at the Church of the Resurrection in Ernest. She had been a member of the League of Women Voters and active in PTA. She had been employed part time by Kroger and was also employed throughout her life by West Haven VA Hospital, Internal Revenue Service, and North Caroline National Guard. In all she spent 21 years as a federal employee. As a home maker she was a wonderful baker, cook, and seamstress. Katherine found pleasure in watching butterflies and working in her yard. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Surviving are her children, Barbara Hunt, Sandston, VA, Mark Headley and Erica Headley, both of Ernest; grandchildren, Heather, Sarah, Jessica and Laura; great grandchildren, Colette, Jake, Ellis, Georgia, and Abel.
Preceding Katherine in death were her parents; husband, Oliver Mayne Headley; a brother, George; and sisters, Mary Kapral and Barbara Duralia.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 10 am to noon at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. A Blessing service will follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Father George Saletrik  as Celebrant.
Interment in the All Saints Cemetery in Braddock will be private.
