Joanne Marie Troup

Joanne Marie Troup, 77, Indiana, (Formerly Marion Center) died Monday, April 1, 2019, while at Scenery Hill Nursing Center.

The daughter of Peter and Catherine (Harvilla) Suwinski, she was born June 25, 1941, in Spangler, PA.

Joanne was a devout catholic who attended the Prince of Peace Church in Barnesboro for many years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved watching sports with her family, listening to polka music and also loved animals.

Surviving are her children, Brian Troup, Indiana, Kevin Troup, Punxsutawney, and Lisa (Bernhard) Spieker, Fredericksburg, VA; a grandson, Sebastian Spieker; and a brother, Bernard (Theresa) Suwinski.

Preceding Joanne in death were her parents and husband, Vernon Troup.

Friends will be received on Friday from 6 to 9 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, 11 am at the St Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church with Father Thomas Federline as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in the Sagamore cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Rte. 119N, Indiana, PA 15701 to assist with funeral expenses.
