James Eugene Weaver, 75, Home, died Sunday, June 23, 2019, at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The son of John Ray and Delores Belle (Van Horn) Weaver, he was born May 5, 1944 in South Mahoning Township, Indiana County.
Jim was a member of the Gospel Center Church of Sagamore. He had been employed 40 years for Green Steel Industries. His interests included spending time with the grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Surviving is his wife Georgetta Louise (Harkins) Weaver, whom he wed July 11, 1964; children, Jesse James (Vicki) Weaver, Plumville, Cindy Louise (Bryan) Yarnal, Home; grandchildren, Christina (Brian) Jordon, Plumville, Vicki Ann Weaver and fiancée Christopher Szalanczy, Slickville , Jessica Weaver and boyfriend Cody Henry, Plumville, Bryan (Shawnettle) Yarnal Jr., Clune , and Randy Yarnal, Home; great grandchildren, Hailey and Ray Yarnal, Clune; great grandchild, Christopher Szalanczy , Slickville ; brother, John (Gladys) Weaver, Home, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Jim in death were his parents; sisters, Mary Lewis, Shirley Craig, Betty Peffer, Anna Belle Weaver, Vernie Shank, Margaret “Peg” Cramer; and brother-in-law, Clair Lewis.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11 am in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Kal Henry, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gilgal Cemetery.
