Harvey Palmer

Harvey Allen Palmer Sr., 85, Blairsville, died Friday, January 18, 2019 while at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

Born January 11, 1934 in Brush Valley, he was the son of E. Roy and Sara (Patterson) Palmer.

Mr. Palmer was employed many years as a truck driver and was also a very good mechanic.

Surviving is his friend, Margaret Locher, Johnstown; children, Sandra (Joseph M.) Blatt, Indiana, Patricia Mountain, Robinson, Mary (Timothy) McClure, Indiana, Donna (Wilbert) Spicer, Lisle, NY, Loretta Bolick, Fort Royal, VA, Harvey Palmer Jr., Frackville, Pa., Roger (Gail) Palmer, New Bedford, PA, Joseph Palmer and fiancée, Melissa, WV; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; A brother, William Palmer, Indiana; sisters, Wilma McAdoo, NY, and Roena Gardner, Homer City.

Preceding Mr. Palmer in death were his parents; and sisters, Betty, Alma, and Marjarie.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 12 to 2p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana.  A memorial service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel. 

Interment will follow in the Brush Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery.
