Gwen Peelor

Gwen Ann Peelor, 53, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018.

The daughter of Patricia (Maday) Peelor, she was born January 25, 1965 in Indiana, PA.

Gwen graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She then moved to Pittsburgh, where her focus of work was helping people with disabilities.  Gwen then returned to Indiana four years ago.  She was a very kind and generous person to the less fortunate.  Gwen loved animals and dedicated her time to finding homes for homeless felines in Pittsburgh and Indiana. 

Gwen will be deeply missed by her family and friends. 

Surviving is her mother, Patricia Peelor, Indiana; brother, Douglass Peelor, Clune; three sisters, Jill Kamienski, Kristal Barbour, and Cami Fuhrer, all of Pittsburgh; four nieces and one nephew.

Gwen was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela, who passed away in 2008.

A private service was held at the convenience of her family.

The John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
