Glen Norman Gardner, Jr., 77, Homer City, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 while at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The son of Glen and Cora (Overman) Gardner, Sr., he was born July 26, 1942 in Homer City, PA.
Glen was a member of the Independent Traditional Holiness Church. He enjoyed firearms, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Glen always put his family first and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving is his wife, Roena (Palmer) Gardner; children, Kenneth (Leilani) Gardner, Indiana, Judy (Timothy) Zerfoss, Blairsville, and Rodney (Rebecca) Gardner, Indiana; grandchildren, Bradley Gardner, Indiana, Ashley Zerfoss, Pasadena, MD, Michael Zerfoss, Blairsville, Brandon, Mark, and Emily Gardner, all of Indiana; sisters, Barb (Charles) Shultz, Glenna (Blair) Hilty, Jean (Roy) Broadwater, Linda Peace, and Twila (Dave) Dilts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dale and Roger Gardner; and sisters, Bonnie Lute and Dolores Peace.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be conducted to honor Glen at 12p.m. on Sunday at the Independent Traditional Holiness Church, 5065 Ferguson Road, Indiana PA 15701.
