Floyd Robert Heilbrun, 87, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 while at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The son of Amos and Kathryn (McKinney) Heilbrun, he was born May 10, 1932 in Sharpsville, PA.
Floyd served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed by the United Mine Workers and Sharp Paving. Floyd was a member of Grove Chapel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed woodworking, mowing, and camping.
Surviving is his son, Christopher Heilbrun and his wife, Angelina; grandchildren, Mia and Gage Heilbrun; siblings, Edith (Vince) Saltsgiver, Louise (Jim) Seger, Jim (Joan) Heilbrun, and Amos (Judy) Heilbrun.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ethel Heilbrun; siblings, Carol Ann and Irvin Heilbrun; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Heilbrun.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Tom Spiker, officiating.
