Ethel Heilbrun Obituary

Ethel Arveda (Montgomery) Heilbrun (85) of Grove Chapel area of Indiana, born on January 26, 1933, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018, after suffering a stroke.  She was surrounded by her loving family.
A loving, generous person to all she knew, Ethel especially loved children, and was a foster parent for many years. Ethel is survived by Floyd R. Heilbrun, her husband of 67 years; their son, Christopher F. Heilbrun and his wife Angelina, Indiana. She doted on her grandchildren Mia Paige and Gage Robert.  In addition, she had two surviving sisters, Jean Montgomery, Atlanta, GA, and Kay (Larry) Black, Seymour, TN, and many devoted nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews from coast to coast.
She is preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Alvassa (Smith) Montgomery and brother, Ronald C. Montgomery.
Ethel and Floyd were members of Grove Chapel Church.  Interesting fact: she lived in the same house for 81 years.
Friends will be received on Friday, Sept. 7 from 3-6 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana, with service immediately following in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Tom Spiker, of Curry Run Church of Shelocta, officiating.
