Elizabeth E. Foose, 78, Home, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 while at Beacon Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.
The daughter of Carl and Agnes (Anderson) Stenman, she was born February 29, 1940 in Home.
Elizabeth was a 1958 graduate of Marion Center Area High School. She was a housewife and homemaker who loved gardening and raising farm animals.
Surviving are her children, Joyce Hoover, McIntyre, Denise (Monte) Kern, Dana, IN, Tammie (Joseph) Lowman, Marion Center, Harold (Linda) Foose, Dayton, Charles (Kim) Foose, LaGrange, GA, Lisa Foose and David Foose, both of Home; grandchildren, Robert Hoover, III, Charles, Douglas, and Kenneth Hoover, Daniel (Phillip) Kern-Sims, Bethany Kern and friend, Brandon Moroney, Kimberly (Cory) Pyawasay, Shannon Lowman, Stephanie (William) Yarger, Hollie (Archie) Boarts, Mark Foose, Deanna Foose and her friend, Wes Bennett, Mindie Foose and her friend, Brian Cofield, Sandy Foose, Nicole Foose and her friend, David Bowman, Trista Foose and her friend, Tim Ruiz; great-grandchildren, Evan, Carlie, Austin, Christopher, Kayla, and Emily Hoover, Lucas Kern and Evan Moroney, Conner Pyawasay, Alyssa Yarger, Archie and Aaron Boarts, Adam Foose, Abby McCurry, Halie Bowman, and Madalynn Ruiz; and sisters, Louise Good and Jane Isaacson.
Preceding Elizabeth in death were her parents; her husband of 50 years, George E. Foose who died October 10, 2008; siblings, Leonard, Paul, Leroy, Esther and husband, Max Gregory, and Robert; granddaughter, Amber Foose.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. The family is being assisted with funeral arrangements by the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
