Doyle "Joe" Decker

Doyle “Joe” Decker born September 22, 1923 went to be with God on January 25, 2018. He is survived by his sons Thomas (Sara) Decker, James (Joi) Decker and his grandchildren Nicole, Alexander James (AJ), Hazel & Harrison Decker. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Norma (Hoch) Decker, his parents James “JM” and Missouri Decker and his brother Maynard (Charlotte) Decker.

Doyle graduated from Brush Valley high school, and started working in the Mining Industry at Ernest and finally retiring from and National Mine Supply, Indiana PA. Doyle loved his wife and family and they were the center of his life.  He is known for love of hunting, spoiling his dogs and playing the banjo.

Friends will be received at the John Lefdahl Funeral Home on Tuesday January 30, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  A  Masonic Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service to immediately follow after.
