Daniel Michael Zelenski

Daniel Michael Zelenski, 66, Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his residence.

The son of Michael and Helen (Zorak) Zelenski, he was born April 5, 1951 in Indiana, PA.

After retiring from the Keystone Power Plant in Shelocta, PA, Daniel enjoyed golfing and the “guys” golf getaways.   He looked forward to the yearly Ocean City vacations with Brenda and his family.  When Daniel wasn’t on a trip, you could find him watching a Pitt game with his son Dan or visiting with friends at the Indiana Elks, Eagles, and VFW where he was a member.  Daniel will forever be remembered for his sarcasm, amazing cooking, his laugh, and the undeniable love for his wife, kids, and grandkids.    

Surviving are his children, Daniel Zelenski, Jr. and Senta Zelenski; step-children, Amanda Fleming, Brandi and Steven Sexton, Troy Fleming and Mystee Cassatt, and Preston Fleming; grandchildren, Aybrah, Landon, and Alayna Zelenski and Chelsea Daughtery, Dean and Noel Barnett, Cody, Hunter, and Gabriela, Lexy Cassatt, Austin and Savannah Fleming.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.  Also passing was his wife, Brenda (Fleming) Zelenski.

A memorial service for friends and family will be conducted at a later date.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
