Clara Kuta Uhron, 92, Home, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 surrounded by her children at Crystal Waters Personal Care Home.
The daughter of Peter and Valeria (Rudjenski) Kuta, she was born August 15, 1926 in Lucernemines, PA.
Clara had been employed by Bell Telephone as a telephone operator for many years. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking. Clara always made delicious meals and special desserts for family and friends at home and all who visited from out of town. She loved having her family all together for the holidays and especially the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughters, Karen (Ron) Morrison, and Roberta (Tim) Morrow, Indiana; son, John (Nancy) Uhron, Shelocta; son-in-law, Mike Yoschak, Indiana; grandchildren, Matt Morrison, Alexandria, VA, Matt (Crystal) Yoschak, Plum, Julie Yoschak, John Morrow, Pittsburgh, Kristen Morrow and fiancé, Shawn Steffee, Indiana, Ansley Uhron, Danielle Uhron, Shelocta; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Morrison, Knoxville, TN, Annabella Yoschak, Chase Yoschak, Plum; sisters-in-law, Helen Kuta, Ann Kuta, Joanna Kuta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pete; daughter, Rebecca Yoschak; sisters, Sylvia Rayko, Priscilla Mistretta, Jennie Danko; and brothers, Edward, Bernard “Blan”, Norbert, and Irvin Kuta. Clara was the last surviving member of her immediate family of 8 children.
Clara’s family would like to thank Crystal Waters and their staff, VNA, and Hospice for their kind, loving care.
As per Clara’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana with Father Thomas Federline as celebrant.
Entombment will follow in Saint Bernard Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Clara’s honor to either VNA of Indiana County or Family Hospice, 850 Hospital Road, Indiana, PA 15701.
