Barbara Ann (Wilson) Gibbons

Barbara Ann (Wilson) Gibbons, 44, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 09, 2018 while at the Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Barbara was the daughter of Russell and Ruth (Baker) Wilson, she was born January 18, 1974 in Indiana.

Barbara was a graduate of Indiana Area High School.  She had been employed numerous years for McDonalds and also as a nurse’s aide.  She loved animals especially birds.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister.

Surviving is her husband, Douglas Gibbons, Indiana; parents, Ruth and Russell Wilson, Indiana; children, Breanna Rebo and Isaac Gibbons, both of Indiana; brothers, Russell Wilson, Daniel Wilson, both of Indiana and Timothy Wilson, Butler; nieces, Alexis, Rachel, and Lauren Wilson, all of Indiana, and Adalyne and Camille Gibbons, Indiana; nephews, Ryan Wilson and Gavin Gibbons, both of Indiana; grandparent Elsie Hicks; and mother and stepfather-in-law, Christine and Jim Hicks, Marion Center; father and stepmother-in-law, Silas (Nancy) Gibbons; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Beth) Gibbons, JD (Christina) Hicks and Johnathan Gibbons.

Preceding Barbara in death were grandparents, Royden and Ethel Baker and Vallie Wilson; brother, Matthew Duke Wilson; and an uncle, Daniel Brombach. 

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gary Alberding, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
