Anthony Thomas Scardina, 86, Ambridge, Pa, died Thursday, October 13, 2011, at his residence.The son of Gaetano and Micheline Scardina, he was born May 4, 1925 in Kittanning.Mr. Scardina was a graduate of Kittanning High School. He will be remembered as a loving husband.Surviving are his wife, Irma (Marcoline) Scardina, whom he wed June 25,1952; nieces, Joyce DellaChiesa and her husband, Ron, Boston, MA, and Donna Lasorsa, Staten Island, NY; nephews, Richard Scardina and his wife Rose, residing in CA, and John Scardina with his wife Lynn, VA.Mr. Scardina was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John; and sisters, Grace, Mary and Elizabeth.Friends will be received on Saturday, from 2 to 4 PM at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. Funeral service will immediately follow at 4 pm in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Bill Anzevino, officiating.Interment in the Greenwood Cemetery will be private.
