Almeda Kellar

Almeda Helen “Babe” Kellar, 79, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 while at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home.

 

The daughter of John C. and Margaret (Laverick) Little, she was born January 29, 1940 in Idamir, PA.

 

Babe enjoyed scrapbooking and collecting art including oriental fans and porcelain dolls.

 

Surviving are her children, Chauncey (Roxi) Kellar, Jr., Jeffrey Clark, Patricia Dunkle, Tommy Kellar, Rosalind (Carson) Greene; grandchildren, Cassandra Kellar, Alonzo, Vaughn, and Annissa Orr, Gabrielle and Hadyn Greene, and Amellia Kellar; siblings, Mary Hurd, Ronald Little, Margaret Henderson, and John (Marcia) Little; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Babe was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Little; husband, Chauncey Kellar, Sr., brother, James Little; and sisters, Betty Lou Sibert and Susan Miller.

 

Friends will be received on Monday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  A memorial service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Micah McMillen, officiating. 

 

Interment in the Ruffner Cemetery will be private.
