Grant Charles “Cameron” McCollum III, 50, Penn Run, passed away peacefully, March 19, 2024, while at the Allegheny General Hospital.
The son of Grant and Joann (Miller) McCollum, he was born April 27, 1973 in Youngstown, Ohio.
Grant was a Civil Servant in the Commonwealth of Pa. He will be remembered for his random acts of kindness, and missed as an Administrator on multiple social media platforms, advocating for special needs animals.
Surviving is his wife of 27 years, Sherry (Bartlebaugh) McCollum; parents, Grant and Joann McCollum Jr., father and mother-in-law, Gary and Delma Bartlebaugh; brother and sister-in-laws, Scott and Amy (Piccola) Bartlebaugh, and Rick and Stacy (Thomas) Bartlebaugh; nieces Taicha and Ester Bartlebaugh; lifelong best friend, James Gilliland, who was like a brother to him, and lifelong friends, Craig and Brandy Henkes, who were like family; and numerous cousins.
Preceding Cameron in death were his paternal grandparents, Grant and Ann McCollum Sr. Maternal grandparents, John and Isabelle Miller.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Micah McMillen, officiating.
