Elsie LaRue Rethi

Elsie LaRue Rethi, 85, of Indiana, passed away on March 9, 2024 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

 She was born November 28, 1938 to John and Mary (Ferrier) Bash in Green Township, Indiana County.

 Elsie was a graduate of Purchase Line High School. She was a member of the Tanoma Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, caregiver and friends to many. Most of all she loved taking care of her family.

 She is survived by five children, Timothy Rethi, (Klara), SC, John Rethi, Marion Center, Linda Gorzelsky, Bolivar, William Rethi (Brenda), Marion Center, Mark Rethi (Kelly), Clymer, 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, a sister, Virginia Bash, Indiana, two brothers, Kennth Bash, Indiana, and John “Jack” Bash (Virginia) DuBois and numerous nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Daniel and an infant son Jeffrey, and a grandson Matthew Rethi

 Friends will be received on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the Tanoma Church, 3726 Tanoma Road, Clymer, PA 15728, with pastor Lois Jackson officiating.
