William Stewart MacBlane, 92, Melbourne, FL, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017.

The son of Alexander and Nellie (Vinton) MacBlane, he was born November 30, 1925 in Lucernemines, PA.

Mr. MacBlane had been employed for Syntron and FMC prior to his retirement.  He was a member of the Elks, the American Legion, and the Masonic Lodge.  He was previously a member of the Graystone Presbyterian Church in Indiana, PA as well as a member of the Church of God in West Lebanon, PA.  While residing in Melbourne, he became of member of Suntree United Methodist Church.  William’s interests included golfing, reading, and he was also a crossword enthusiast. 

Surviving is his wife, Dolly May (Miller) MacBlane, Melbourne, FL; children, Chuck (Laura) MacBlane, Minnetrista, MN, and Randy (Heidi) MacBlane, Livingston, NJ, and Bill MacBlane, Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Eric MacBlane, New York, NY, Daniel MacBlane, Livingston, NJ, Stacy (Michael) MacBlane-Meyer, Minneapolis, MN and their children, Violet and Henry, and Becky MacBlane, Minnetrista, MN and her child, Lydia.

Preceding William in death were his parents; daughter, Bonnie MacBlane; brothers, John and Robert; and a sister, Florence Molnar.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana, PA.  Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Micah McMillen, officiating. 

Interment in the Oakland Cemetery will be private.
