Timothy Jess Fairman, 21, Indiana, died from natural causes Thursday, November 16, 2017.
The son of Ronald and Julie (Nicholas) Fairman, he was born January 29, 1996 in Indiana, PA.
Timothy was a graduate of Indiana Area High School, class of 2014. While attending high school, he participated in cross country, and track. He also played the trumpet, mellophone and french horn in the concert and marching bands. He played little league all the way through to travel league.
Timothy chose to attend college at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, where he majored in Computer Science with minors in Chemistry and German. He was active in the Pep band, an officer in the Aikido club, and was vice president of the computer science club. He also had the opportunity to study abroad in Germany for a semester.
Outside of his academic studies, he led a full life. Timothy had attended both the Christian Missionary Alliance Church and the Amplify Church. He had many interests including outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and working on old cars with his father, biking, kayaking, photography, cooking and traveling. He will be surely missed by his dog Lizzie with whom he enjoyed hunting pheasants.
Those who knew Timothy will remember him as a trusting friend, strong student, patient instructor, the best boyfriend, and a loving son.
Surviving are his parents, Ronald and Julie (Nicholas) Fairman, Indiana; maternal grandparents, Bradley and Ruby Nicholas, York, PA; paternal grandmother, Audrey Goodlin, Indiana; and fiancée, Lana McArdle, Indiana.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 12 to 2 and 5 to 9 pm at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. There will be an additional hour of viewing on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 am with funeral service to immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor John L. Buchmann, officiating and Pastor Brian Johnston speaking. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
