Thomas Lee Weaver, 70, of Irwin, Pa, formerly of Beyer Pa, passed away peacefully after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease and Bone Marrow Cancer. Thomas was born May 21, 1946 in Punxsutawney to John Monroe Weaver and Elinor Van Valkenburgh
Thomas was a loving and devoted husband for 40 years to his loving wife Diane/Dee (Majercik) Weaver. He graduated from Marion Center High School and attended Triangle Tech in Greensburg, Pa. He was employed by Fisher Scientific of Indiana and RGIS Inventory, Pittsburgh, Pa. Thomas was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army. He was also a member of the Plumville Fire department. He enjoyed many things in life including model railroading, playing cards, traveling, and going to auctions.
Thomas was survived by his wife Diane/Dee (Majercik) Weaver, Irwin; sister Sheila Weaver, Winter Park, Fl; brother-in-law’s Dennis Majercik and wife Natalie, and Paul Reed, both of N. Huntingdon, Pa; Niece Michelle Zimmerman and husband Brian, Irwin; Nephews Matt Reed and wife Samantha, Larimer, PA, Jason Majercik and wife Heidi, and Dennis Reed and wife Marie, both of N Huntingdon, Pa. Great Nieces and Nephews Lacey, Ryan, Michael, Zachary, Aidan, Samantha, and Hayden.
Thomas is preceded in death by his Father; sister-in-law Donna Reed; and nephew Milan Reed
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday from 3 pm until 8 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. An addition hour of visitation will be held Thursday from 10 am until 11. With a funeral service to immediately to follow at 11 am with Rev. Sally Lydic. Interment will follow at Smicksburg Cemetery.
