Susan Marleen Rolls, 53, of Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 while at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born June 13, 1963 in Indiana, PA and the daughter of Robert H. and Sarah Jean (Fairman) Rolls.

Susan was a very talented florist who loved making people smile with her personalized attention to detail that she would add to every beautiful arrangement. She was a kind, loving person who also cared for her mother full time for many years.  She was well known and will be remembered for her love of sending greeting cards through the mail. For each Holiday, Birthday and Special Occasion, she would include a heartfelt, hand-written message inside and made sure it was delivered ahead of schedule.  Susan truly celebrated life, loved God, had a rich faith and enjoyed hosting Holiday gatherings for her family and friends. She had a fondness for animals, birds, nature and gardening. She was a big Steeler’s fan and loved singing and dancing to music, her favorite being the great Neil Young.

Surviving is her sister, Paula Carnahan and a brother, William (and wife, Sherry) Rolls, all of Indiana; nephew, August (and wife, Melissa) Carnahan; nieces, Cheryl Carnahan, Shawna Boston and Colby Fordyce; great nieces and nephews, Logan Bash, Jayden, Ashlyn and Ava Hoyman, Brady and Riley Boston and Nevaeh Fordyce.

Preceding Susan in death were her parents and a Goddaughter, Cinnamon Rose Miller.

Friends will be received from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday evening in the Lefdahl Chapel. A memorial service will immediately follow with Rev. Micah McMillen, officiating.
