Robert Eugene Brandon, 80, Indiana, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

The son of Robert H. and Edna Mae (Shank) Brandon, he was born May 6, 1936 in Indiana, PA.

Robert was a lifetime resident of Indiana County and a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  He enjoyed studying the bible and sharing the kingdom message with others.  Robert also liked to work on automobiles and gardening.  He had been employed by IUP in the postal service department and was also employed in property and management.

Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Thelma (George) Brandon whom he wed June 14, 1954; children, Rhonda Landis-Steele and husband, Kent, New Market, TN, Randy Brandon, Rockford, IL, and Robert Brandon, Jr, Austin, TX; grandchildren, Denver, Wyatt, Justin, and Carter; a great-grandchild, Alex; a sister, Jane Sokol, New Kensington, PA; and a brother, Edward J. Brandon and wife, Marlene, Ft. Myers, FL; a nephew, Todd Brandon who resided with Robert and Thelma; and many other nieces and nephews.

 Preceding Robert in death were his parents; brother, Larry; son-in-law, Will Landis; and brother-in-law, John Sokol.

 A Memorial Service will be conducted on July 16 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall, 450 East Pike Road, Indiana, PA.
