Maureen A. Poje, 67, Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at her residence.

The daughter of John and Anne (Dolphin) Regan, she was born June 3, 1950 in Queens, NY.

Mrs. Poje was a member of the St. Thomas More Church and the Catholic Daughters’ of America.  She was employed for many years as a Registered Nurse.  Mrs. Poje will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was devoted to the care of her family.

Surviving is her husband, Stephen Poje, Indiana; two children, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Hawk, Indiana and Sarah (Kevin) Peacock, Philipsburg, PA; and grandchildren, Samuel Hawk, Indiana and Andrew and Ethan Peacock, Philipsburg.

Mrs. Poje was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial mass will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Thomas More University Parish Church, Indiana, with Father Andres Gumangan as celebrant. 

Interment will immediately follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery.

The John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
