Margaret “Dolly” Lorraine Lute, 88, Clymer, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 while at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Truman Samuel and Alverta Nancy (Nicewonger) Longnecker.  She was born April 6, 1929 in Reesedale, PA.

Margaret enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed growing flowers and bird watching.      

Surviving are her children, Joyce Patterson, Clymer, Harry Miller and his fiancée, Carrie, Blairsville, Mary Miller, Westover, Josephine (Rick) Shultz, Plumville, Harry John (Jeanie) Falisec, Commodore, Linda Lute and fiancée, Douglas Griffith, Dixonville, LuAnn Yaratch, Ohio; thirty-one grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Robert J. (Dori) Longnecker, Ohio; sisters, Helen T. Pasqualini, Pittsburgh, Virginia L. Obrecht, Ohio, Mary L. Morgan, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; son, James “Jimmy” Longnecker; brothers, Ernest, Edward, and Samuel; sisters, Ruth and Nellie.

Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Margaret’s life from noon to 2 pm Saturday, at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. Funeral service will immediately follow at 2 pm in the Lefdahl Chapel.

Interment in the Thompson Cemetery will be private.
