Louise Mae (Kreger), 88, of Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at St. Andrews Village, Indiana, PA.  

She was born in Endicott, New York on May 24, 1928, daughter of William and Frances Kreger. 

She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.  She and her husband loved to travel in their motorhome and visited all 50 states. 

She was the beloved wife of 68 years of John Wheatcroft, who survives.  Also surviving are loving sons John David (Margaret) Wheatcroft of Indiana, Daniel Ray (Barbara) Wheatcroft of Washington, PA, and Donald Wheatcroft of Indiana;  grandchildren Brian (Michelle) Wheatcroft, Jill (Jason) Lawson, Steven (Sarah) Wheatcroft, Cara (Daniel) McDowell, Jason Hippchen, Brian Hippchen;  seven great-grandchildren;  brothers Ronald (Rita) Kreger and Garron (Ginger) Kreger, sister-in-law Eleanor Moreno, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandson, Tyler Wheatcroft. 

Friends and family are welcome to attend a casual celebration of Louise’s life from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017, at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Hartsfield Cemetery, Liberty, Pennsylvania.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrews Village or 365 Hospice.
