Judith Anne Lias, 76, Asheville, North Carolina, (formerly of Indiana), died Wednesday, June 2, 2016 in North Carolina.

The daughter of James and Viola (Strong) Ward, she was born June 1, 1940 in Clymer, PA.

Judy and her husband, Jerry, were owners of Lias Tire where Judy performed the bookkeeping.  Her interests included reading, gardening, and playing piano. 

Surviving are her children, Scott R. Lias, Ft. Collins, CO, Shelley A. Lias-Maull and her husband, Gilbert, Lewes, DE, and Jennifer L. Lias, Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Seth Caswell, Lewes, DE, and Eli North-Lias, Asheville, NC; and a sister, Norma Murdick, Clymer.

Preceding Judy in death were her parents; husband, Jerry; brothers, Herbert and James Ward; and a brother-in-law, Wendell Murdick.

Friends will be receive on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home of Indiana.  Funeral Service will immediately follow at 5 p.m. in the Lefdahl Chapel.
