Joseph Fedor

Joseph Andrew Fedor, Jr., 36, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at his residence.

The son of Joseph and Jeannie (Fleming) Fedor, Sr., he was born June 14, 1981 in Indiana, PA.

Joseph was a graduate of Indiana Area High School.  He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a double major in History and Archaeology.  Joseph had been employed by GAI Consultants for five years prior to working at Lowes of Indiana for the past six years.  He enjoyed playing baseball and video games as well as watching Miami Dolphins football and Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games.  Joseph will be remembered as a loving father and son.

Surviving are his parents, Joseph and Jeannie Fedor, Indiana; son, Austin Joseph “AJ” Fedor, Indiana; aunts, Anna Mae (Charles) Leydic, Mercer and JoAnn Trout, Covington, VA; uncles, Jack (Dorothy) Fleming, Indiana, Russell Fleming and his special friend, Sue Walker, Indiana, Steve (Susie) Fedor, Clune, Rich (Sharon) Fedor, Charlotte, NC, Danny Holbrook, Fredericksburg, VA, and Jack Yard, McIntrye; special friend, Julia Stoltz, Altoona; and numerous cousins. 

Joseph was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dale and Mitz Fleming; paternal grandparents, Steve and Emma Fedor; aunts, Irene “Cookie” Holbrook, Cathy Yard, Georgia Fleming, and Mary Louise Fleming; uncle, Ed Fleming; and cousins, William Leydic and Stephen Fedor, III.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana.  A funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Ray Degenkolb, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home to assist with funeral arrangements.
